Seasonal Color Changes

Four flower changes are available per year at the customer’s request. Color changes are customized to fit each flowerbed from a horticultural standpoint and according to the season maximizing the best colors and combination to best suit your property each season. Here is an example of how the seasonal color change schedule works.

Spring

Flower changes will include a variety of Petunias to Geraniums. Colors will depend on the preference of the customer.

Summer

Depending on the environment in which the flowers will be planted, there are a wide variety of choices to make. These include Begonias, Inpatients, Sweet Potato Vine, Coleus, Hibiscus, Crotons, Salvia, Periwinkles and Marigolds. Feel free to get creative in the summer. Terra Firma will help you get the best look for your flowerbeds.

Fall

In the Fall, we start with Pansies. (Pansies are hearty plant and can be used also as winter flowers.) We also offer Mums, Pumpkins and hay to emphasize the harvest season.

Winter

Pansies, White and Purple Kale, Rosemary and Cyclamen can be used and will thrive in the winter. Terra Firma also provides the option of decorating the exterior of your home with Christmas lights and seasonal fixtures (journeyman electrician on staff).
